Join the gang from Gather, Connect, and Create at FoodRight’s beautiful teaching kitchen on Milwaukee’s east side. We'll do yoga, eat a lovely brunch, and you might make a new friend or two. Fun, right?
During our two hours together, we’ll do a 45-minute yoga class, a wee bit of meditation, and then enjoy a meal together.
1/21 Update - We are making this session more of a pot luck than just a recipe test session. If you are so inclined, please bring a dish to pass. (Don’t feel like it? No worries! Please just join us!)
All three parts should leave you feeling nourished in all senses of the word. We’ll move our bodies, we’ll quiet our minds, and we’ll eat food as cozy as a warm blanket. Bring a friend or family member to make it even more fun! Children aged 14 and up are welcome.
Please note: You will need to bring your own yoga mat. If you don’t have one, please contact Maggie to see if we can find one to borrow.
FoodRight empowers young people, mostly from MPS schools, with culinary and gardening education, teaching them to make healthy, whole-food meals from scratch.
$30 from each ticket sold will go towards this important program!
