Reframing Body Image: Movement, Mindfulness, and Self-Care

$45.00

Saturday, May 2nd - 9:30 - 11:30
Tosa Physical Therapy & Wellness- 9126 W. North Ave in Wauwatosa

Join us in a beginning discussion related to a deeply personal but widely shared topic: body image.  Together, we’ll gently examine the messages we’ve internalized about our bodies and how those beliefs impact our self-image, mood, and overall well-being. Through guided discussion led by Lauren Kubik, LCSW, Owner of Supportive Solutions Counseling, LLC, participants will gain insight into common body image challenges and begin to shift toward a more compassionate and realistic perspective.

This workshop also incorporates gentle yoga-based movement and mindfulness practices, helping you reconnect with your body in a way that feels supportive rather than critical. A light, nourishing meal will be provided.

This is space for open, honest, and non-judgmental conversation — both with yourself and with others.

There are mats, blocks, and straps at this studio but feel free to bring your own. Additionally, come dressed in comfortable clothing and bring your own water bottle.

Children aged 14 and up are welcome to join.
